Early Life and Biography

Kenya Moore was born on the 24th of January 1971 in Detroit, Michigan. Her parents, Ronald Grant, and Patricia Moore, were young adults (teenagers) when she was born, and were not ready to have her.

It was widely reported that Kenya has never spoken to her parents. Her mother abandoned her just three days after her birth and she was raised by her paternal grandmother, Doris Grant, and her aunt.
