Later, he became a staff writer for Prevention magazine. Greg moved to Emmaus, Pennsylvania, and served as the editor for many Rodale Press magazines.
In 1995, Gutfeld joined the biggest men’s magazine brand, Men’s Health, and was promoted to editor-in-chief in 1999, but in 2000, he was replaced by David Zinczenko. Later, he was made editor-in-chief at Stuff magazine, which was owned and managed by Dennis Publishing as at the time.
While working for the electronic magazine, Stuff, the publication’s circulation grew from 750,000 to 1.2 million. However, he was sacked in 2003 following a controversial stunt where he recruited and mobilized dwarves to attend a conference organized by the Magazine Publishers of America conference, instructing them to be as loud and irritating as they could. Although the stunt went viral, it cost it his job.
After being dismissed from Stuff magazine, Gutfeld was appointed as the head of “brain development” at Dennis Publishing. He remained with Dennis Publishing and was appointed to edit their Maxim U.K magazine in the London office from 2004 to 2006. The announcement for the new weeknight show (which airs on weeknights by 11:00 P.M. ET) was made on March 10, 2021, with the show scheduled to premiere on Monday, April 5, 2021.
Impressively, Greg Gutfeld’s show pulled in a large number of viewers, and it got around 2.862 million in four episodes. With this gigantic number, Greg had beaten the likes of Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Fallon even though his show aired once a week while the other host had their airing for four weeks each week.
