King Von was born on the 9th of August 1994 in a family of eight. He was the youngest of six children born to his father, Walter E. Bennett, and three to his mother, Taesha. His father spent time in and out of prison and didn’t live a crime-free life. King Von was only 11 years when his father was gunned down and killed. Von has paid tribute to his late father in so many songs, including “Exposing Me”.
At 16, King Von was found guilty of criminal activity and sent to prison. He was part of a gang named ‘Black Disciples’. Shockingly, his grandfather David Barksdale (a.k.a King Dave) happens to be the founder of the gang.
At 19 years of age, he faced several legal issues. He was arrested and charged to court with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder. That shooting incident had one person wounded and another killed.

You may be wondering to know the cause of King Von’s death. On November 6, 2020, Dayvon was involved in a fight with Quando Rondo in a parking lot outside the Monoco Hookah Lounge in Atlanta, Georgia.
The dispute escalated, and Von was shot. He was in critical condition and was rushed to a hospital but later passed on that day during surgery. He died as a result of the injuries sustained from gunshot wounds.
According to reports from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, seven others were affected in the altercation, while two others lost their lives. One of the victims of the altercation, Timothy Leeks, was identified by the police as the main suspect behind Dayvon’s death. On 14th November 2020, Dayvon Daquan Bennett was laid to rest in Chicago, Illinois.
