Early Life and Biography
Slim Thug was born on the 8th day of September 1980, in Houston, Texas. It is believed that he lived in the Northside of Houston and pursued a music career early in life.
There is little or no information about his parents, childhood, siblings, or background as he is yet to reveal such. The little we know is that Stayve’s mother did multiple jobs to raise her family.
Slim Thug has been interested in music since he was a child. Though he hasn’t revealed his educational qualifications, he revealed he performed freestyle raps in high school on several occasions.
While rapping in high school, Slim created his own mixtapes and hoped for the day he would become a big star. His talent was first discovered by Michael Watts with Swishahouse sometime in the 1990s. It was a mixtape project and Thug appeared as a guest artist.

He established an independent music company, Boss Hogg Outlawz, with his late friend E.S.G, to publish his mixtapes and music.
