Early Life and Biography

IShowSpeed was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on 21 January, 2005. His real name is Darren Watkins. He grew up with his siblings; a younger brother and sister, and they were raised in Cincinnati.

IShowSpeed spent his teenage years playing several video games and football. He created his first YouTube channel in March 2016 while in high school. However, he didn’t upload a video there until in December 2017.

His first video was an NBA 2k18 shoot-around clip. In 2018, he tried a Fortnite live stream but could only attract a handle of people.  Due to his lack of success, he took a break from live streams and began concentrating on his studies and football. He had his early education in Michigan.

Kaash refused his request and said no to him. Following her response, he got aggressive and was visibly angry. The host Adin Ross tried to calm him down but iShowspeed left the stream for a while and on returning, he made some unsavory and sexist comments to Ash Kaash.
