APC Expresses Concern Over Mutfwang’s Decision Not to Inaugurate 16 Lawmakers

Since the governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, and the speaker of the state assembly, Hon. Gabriel Dewan, have refused to obey the Court of Appeal’s ruling and swear in sixteen lawfully elected members, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has threatened to sue them.

After what seems like an eternity of silence, the party has finally spoken out, threatening that “enough is enough” and refusing to stand for the Speaker’s illegitimate and unlawful actions any longer.

The decision was made yesterday at yesterday’s weekly meeting of the APC’s National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja.

Hon. Isaacs Kekemeke, national vice chairman (South west), spoke to reporters following the meeting and promised that the party would see to it that the Court of Appeal’s ruling was upheld, since it was the final court to rule on this election.
