Kebbi Tomato Mega Factory Commissioned by the Federal Government

Gafara village in the Ngaski Local Government Area of the state is home to GB Foods, a tomato processing mega business that the federal government has commissioned.

On behalf of President Bola Tinubu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Abubakar Kyari reaffirmed Tinubu’s pledge to create an enabling environment and provide the essential incentives for private investors to engage in the agricultural sector, in accordance with his eight-point program.

Kyari has praised the private GB-Company’s owners, Spain nationale, for their massive investment in the country and state, as seen by their plans to expand their processing facilities.

After inviting the president to the commissioning event, the minister expressed gratitude to Juan Sell, the Spanish ambassador to Nigeria, for personally visiting the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.

Speaking at the event, Alhaji Muhammad Idris, minister of information and national orientation, said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has put a lot of money into agricultural development and made it easier for investors to put money into agriculture so that the country can achieve food security.
