This post is expected to be filled temporarily until December 22, 2024.
The steps you’ll take:
Provision of assistance to residents with ADLs
Taking care of residents’ individual needs
Handle all necessary emergency calls
Helping people with their medical needs
Helping out with chores around the house, making and serving meals, and organizing leisure time
Complete the required documentation, including charts, in a clear and timely way.
Keep things neat and tidy so that the residents can relax in an atmosphere that seems like home.
The position’s essential requirements are:
Medical Assistant Credential
Valid, up-to-date criminal record check (within the past six months)
Currently listed as an active health care assistant in Alberta
Finishing the Health Care Aide Directory Bridging Modules (if relevant)
A pleasant attitude, willingness to learn, and strong command of the English language are all necessary for success in this role.
Having certifications in first aid, WHMIS, and food safety is a plus.
