Need a health care assistant for an elderly care home.

A valid and up-to-date criminal background check is necessary. It is advantageous to have WHMIS training, first aid certification, and food safety certification.

The anticipated conclusion date of this temporary post is December 22, 2024.

The steps you’ll take:

Provision of assistance to residents with ADLs
Attending to inhabitants’ individual needs
Assist with urgent calls as needed
Providing residents with pharmaceutical assistance

Providing a hand with chores around the house, making and serving meals, and organizing leisure time
Complete the required documentation, including charts, in a clear and timely way.
Keep the place neat and tidy so that the occupants feel at home.
Qualifications needed for the role:

Medical Assistive Credential
Verified and satisfactory criminal record check (within the past six months)
Continued participation in the Alberta Health Care Aide Registry
Finishing the Health Care Aide Directory Bridging Modules (if relevant)
A pleasant attitude, willingness to learn, and strong command of the English language are all necessary for success in this role.
It would be beneficial to have first aid certification, WHMIS training, and food safety certification.
